OCD Late Edition: Japanese Quarter Pounders & Foreplay
November 10th, 2008
Welcome to OCD 2.0. I hope the new look is actually better. You’ll also notice that there are a few new features: a forum where you can talk to me and other users, an image gallery (with nothing on it yet), and a “send a tip” function on the bottom of the sidebar. Register on the forum and get started.
Mike Ditka’s Supports Movember

- McDonald’s launches “viral” Quarter Pounder campaign in Japan. It actually looks pretty cool.
- Will Smith, Steven Spielberg may team up for Oldboy. Want to know why you’ve heard of it before?
- Foreplay is overrated. Americans have sex for an average of 7 minutes.
- 64% of Republican voters back Sarah Palin as their 2012 Presidential candidate.
- There’s a spoof movie about a spoof movie coming out. Yes, you read that correctly. Garbage.
- Everything is bigger in Texas. Longhorns fans love sports so much that they will launch their own channel. Hook ‘em!
- Cyber attacks on McCain/Obama came from China.
- MGM, desperate, to put movies on YouTube. Also, American Gladiators. In other news, MGM is also launching an HD channel.
- Fremantle Media also inks a deal with YouTube. The article cites their ownership of American Idol… however, I’m hoping the Family Feud makes it to YT.
- With King of the Hill axed, what does FOX do? Orders a full season of a Family Guy spin-off, of course.
- Batman sues The Dark Knight Director Christopher Nolan. In unrelated news, TDK is about to reach the $1 billion mark.
- Madagascar 2 proves that animated franchise films with famous actor voices MAKE BANK!
- Drunk British hooligans a serious problem; UK & Scotland look to ban happy hours & cheap booze. OCD disapproves.

64% of Republican voters back Sarah Palin as their 2012 Presidential candidate… so that leaves her a few years to memorize the names of some newspapers and learn how to stop compulsively winking, and then she’ll get more shopping money? I don’t even have to say it, she’s in.
[...] Update: McDonald’s actually paid 1000 people to stand in line for Japanese Quarter Pounders. Check out the original Japanese QP post here. [...]
