If you watched the Real World: Brooklyn this season, then I feel sorry for you.  I viewed all thirteen episodes and it was probably the worst season of all time.  It was an even mix of 4 guys and 4 girls and there was little tension to make the show interesting.  The main story arc was based on the ongoing “prank wars” between the guys and the girls.

Mixed into this group was Scott Herman from Salem, New Hampshire.  Scott loves to pump iron and aspires to be a model.  The problem for him is that he’s really not that good looking.  Other than his ripping (excessive?) muscles, he’s a pretty average dude.  I’m sure he has his heart set on runway or high fashion print modeling… but that’s never going to happen.  That begs the question: what could he model if his abs are actually covered?  Well, today I was given an answer and that answer is “snuggies”.

I was reading Darren Rovell’s sports business blog and he mentioned that snuggies are coming out with college versions.  I didn’t even notice Scott at first — a co-worker that I had sent the link pointed him out to me.  Congratuations, Scott,  you are now one rung higher in the “modeling” world than Vince Shlomi (the Shamwow guy).

I was looking up info on Javy Lopez and came across a great picture on Wikipedia.  I have no idea when this picture is from, but I seriously doubt that it’s from this millenium.  He appears to be with two possible fans.  They both look like they’re possibly teenagers.  Although, one has to wonder what kind of parent lets her teenage daughter wears a shirt with a boob skylight in it.

GM announced that they will partner with Segway for personal vehicles.  These upright vehicles balance themselves and can drive up to 35 miles.  What’s the hardest thing about driving a GM Segway?  Answer: telling your parents that you’re gay. (via WSJ)

Amy Poehler’s Parks and Recreation will debut in between two new The Office episodes on Thursday.  Originally thought to be a spinoff of The Office, P&R is “mockumentary” series that follows Leslie Knope (Poehler) as head of Parks and Recreation in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana.  A couple of P&R previews are below followed by the cold open from Thursday’s episode of The Office.

Grafite of the German Bundesliga had an amazing goal against Bayern Munich.  The Wolfsburg striker made about 4-5 defenders look foolish before dismissing the goalie with his heel.  The video is below:

Bollywood star Anil Kapoor will be in the upcoming eighth season of 24, IGN reports.  Kapoor was most recently in Slumdog Millionaire as the gameshow host.  In 24, he will play a “Middle Eastern” leader.  No word on if he will rock awesome shades or not though.

Gisele Bundchen is considered to be one of the most beautiful women in the world.  While she’s not my personal ideal woman, there’s no denying that she’s nearly flawless.  With such beauty, she can have an incredible power over men.  I recently encountered an excellent example of this phenomenon at the grocery store.
