Real World Brooklyn’s Scott Models Snuggies Comments

Posted on April 22, 2009 by OfficialChrisDuncan

If you watched the Real World: Brooklyn this season, then I feel sorry for you.  I viewed all thirteen episodes and it was probably the worst season of all time.  It was an even mix of 4 guys and 4 girls and there was little tension to make the show interesting.  The main story arc was based on the ongoing “prank wars” between the guys and the girls.

Mixed into this group was Scott Herman from Salem, New Hampshire.  Scott loves to pump iron and aspires to be a model.  The problem for him is that he’s really not that good looking.  Other than his ripping (excessive?) muscles, he’s a pretty average dude.  I’m sure he has his heart set on runway or high fashion print modeling… but that’s never going to happen.  That begs the question: what could he model if his abs are actually covered?  Well, today I was given an answer and that answer is “snuggies”.

Scott prefers to be snugged out at all times

I was reading Darren Rovell’s sports business blog and he mentioned that snuggies are coming out with college versions.  I didn’t even notice Scott at first — a co-worker that I had sent the link pointed him out to me.  Congratuations, Scott,  you are now one rung higher in the “modeling” world than Vince Shlomi (the Shamwow guy).

OCD Weekend Edition: The Axe Falls at NBC Comments

Posted on December 05, 2008 by OfficialChrisDuncan

Katherine Pope will likely leave NBC. HuffPo heaped the blame on her a couple weeks back for the cancellations of Lipstick Jungle and My Own Worst Enemy. Obviously, that was before Knight Rider was canceled. Ben Silverman is expected to keep his job as he has increased profits at the Peacock. I would be afraid to fire somebody with spiky eyebrows too. I’m curious to find out how much make-goods cost them when a series laden with product placement (MOWE w/ GM, Knight Rider w/ Ford) dies.

Ive heard of angry eyebrows... but these are devilishly furious eyebrows
